SAFE Holdings (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated in June 2005 and has hitherto
functioned as a
specialized investment banking and financial consultancy firm engaged in debt
structuring,
corporate advisory services, feasibility studies, business valuations, business
process re-engineering, project advisory services, etc
Prior to the enactment of the SEC Act No 19, of 2021, SAFE Holding’s activities included;

a) Structuring and placing corporate debt instruments including
debentures, asset backed
securities, commercial papers, promissory notes, fixed/floating rate
notes and advise on
derivatives and swaps.
b) Treasury Management services - including advising on best treasury
management
practices focused on efficient fund management, enhancing investment
returns,
minimizing funding costs, efficiently managing financial risks and
setting up effective
asset and liability management techniques.
c) Project Advisory Services including Project feasibilities,
Feasibility Reports, Investor
Proposals, Diagnostic studies etc.
d) Corporate and Strategic Planning – Assisting corporates to develop
comprehensive
medium term Corporate Plans/ Business Plans and support in implementing
the plans.
e) Enterprise Re-Structuring and Strengthening of Procedures – Assisting
clients to
overcome liquidity and operational challenges by offering re-structuring
support,
including developing optimal capital structures, value drivers, business
process re-engineering, developing efficient systems, policies,
procedures and internal controls,
financial re-structuring and strategies to re-structure inefficient debt
financing.
Additionally, structuring working capital solutions and develop
strategies to convert
illiquid assets.
f) Financial Risk Management - Driving corporate value by structuring
financial risk
management framework to identify, monitor and manage liquidity, interest
rate and
foreign exchange risks.
g) Enterprise Risk Management -Assist in identifying major risks,
assessing a business’s
capacity for risk and help protect the business through an integrated
risk management
framework. Operational Risk Management and preparation of Business
Continuity Plans.
